With late night discos, awesome sales, hot new gallery openings and one epic tea festival, you've got no excuse to stay at home this weekend.
Here's what's on this weekend in Sydney.
SWIM CLUB AT THE CLIFF DIVE
Sydney's favourite late night watering hole, Cliff Dive, is hosting a weekly Swim Club disco each Friday. Expect party anthems and good-time classics, while you bob beneath paper fish and seagrass decorations. Once you work up a sweat, refresh with their signature Pina Colada, Mai Tai or Mr Cavendish – delicious! Dive in from 6pm.
BUBBLES BEYOND BORDERS
If you want to do some good this weekend get behind the Bubbles Beyond Borders campaign, which is taking place around the world on Saturday 16th. The global initiative is supported by Michelle Obama and aims to bring global change and equal rights to girls and women. The event will take place at The Bucket List at 1pm, with free snacks for those who take part.
THE WINERY FASHION MARKETS
The Winery Fashion Markets returns and we couldn't be more thrilled! Stock up on Australian and international designer pieces as you raid the wardrobes of Bespoke PR, Montana Tozzi, BADLANDS and Uniform Studios. There will also be homewares from On the Side, gorgeous flowers by Floreat and DJs pumping tunes into the afternoon.
SYDNEY TEA FESTIVAL
This Sunday the Blacksmith's Workshop at Carriageworks will be transformed in a celebration of specialty loose-leaf tea. Meander through the free tea market (featuring more than 40 stalls) and discover some of the best artisanal teas around. Feeling hungry? Grab a bite to eat from one of Sydney's famous food trucks or indulge in a sweet treat while kicking back in the brew lounge.
SIMON BERNHARDT 'GATEWAY' EXHIBITION
For those who love a bit of art on a Monday, Black Eye Gallery in Darlinghurst is celebrating its newest exhibition from photographer Simon Berhardt. Entitled 'Gateway' the controversial portrait exhibition explores stereotypes about cannabis users and will run until August 31st.
