Where to Pig Out & Party After City2Surf in Bondi

Made it to the finish line? Good on you. Even if you were just cheering on the side lines, you’ll need somewhere to refresh and refuel. Here are the Bondi hotspots to do just that.

Speedo’s Café

Speedo’s has got everyone covered from the healthy friend who loves a Cocowhip (yep that’s us,) right down to the fairy floss covered cronut loving friend (I guess that’s us again.) No matter your style, Speedo’s has got every base covered, which is why it’s a perfect end point to your day. Did we mention they do all day breakfast? Looks like protein pancakes and a big breakfast are in order after all that exercise.

If you’re wanting a more leisurely lunch to relax after the long morning, Harry’s is holding a recovery lunch to get you back in foodie shape. They’ve got your usual favourites, like the cider cured ocean trout, and some newbies like lamb skewers with watermelon and salad #drool.

Porch and Parlour

With Porch and Parlour recently reopening there’s no better time to check it out than after the big race (coincidence? We think not). So refresh yourself with the green bowl or go a bit devilish with the devil’s breakfast, and wash it down with a Porch Bloody Mary.

The Crossing

If cocktails and bar bites are more for you, The Crossing can hit you up with crispy corn cobs slathered in garlic, lime and smoked paprika butter, or go all out with the buttermilk fried chicken. Just ask for your favourite cocktails or be a little more adventurous with the white chocolate mochatini. After all you need a coffee hit after that work out, right?

Bondi Hardware

If you’ve managed to round up all your friends to join you for the fun run and you’re the sharing type, continue the day at Bondi Hardware with a couple of cocktail jugs and some share plates. Your beer battered barramundi sliders, pizzas and honey sriracha chicken wings will be perfectly accompanied by a jug of Turbo Pimms or sangria.

Beach Road Hotel

It’s one of the biggest days of the year at Beach Road Hotel, so if you want to celebrate finishing the race with DJs, BBQ and some drinks, we suggest you head to this classic Bondi pub post City2Surf.

The Bucket List City2Surf Rehydration Party

We all know how important it is to rehydrate after a big race, so get down to The Bucket List for some coconut mojitos and seafood paella while over looking Bondi Beach. It’s all happening from 2:30pm with DJs in the afternoon to help you celebrate completing that 14km journey.
