PSA: To celebrate the return of Vivid Festival, Hacienda will be serving up Trio Of Light cocktails, which tastes (and looks) as majestic as it sounds. A line-up of red, green and orange cocktails, each neon drink is topped with matching coloured fairyfloss.
Inspired by the grand plantation-style architecture of Cuba, Hacienda is located in the Pullman Quay Grand at Sydney Harbour (aka the best viewing spot to see anything and everything at Vivid). Their prime waterside location isn’t wasted with jaw-dropping indoor-outdoor architecture featuring large windows and uninterrupted views of the Harbour Bridge. The décor plays on the luxe vintage hotels of the 1950’s in Miami and the plants that adorn (almost) every single surface only add to the botanical feel. There’s even plants covering much of the ceiling.
The food and drink offerings match the Cuban feel, with noteworthy drinks including Fading Light (vodka, pomegranate liqueur, watermelon shrub, lime juice, vanilla sugar) and Mr. Moncito (Bacardi Carta Blanca, coconut mix, pineapple juice, lime juice and mango sorbet). On the food front, BBQ King Prawns, vacca fritta and Mojito chicken sliders should keep your hunger at bay.
