Famed for their in-house pickling and curing, Nomad is a spectacular restaurant and bar addition to the Surry Hills dining scene. Big supporters of local Australian food and wine producers, with a Mediterranean bent, meat and pickled goods reign supreme here, but vegetarians never fear you are well catered for. The interior is spacious with subway tiles, rustic wine vats and bare brick walls giving the restaurant a pared back yet welcoming ambience.
Perfect for large groups or that dinner for two, the share plate menu includes: housemade charcuterie; goat's cheese churros with truffle honey; BBQ carrots with almond dukkah and labne; King Prawns, pine nuts, brown butter and Parmesan; BBQ Half Chicken with cauliflower, pine nuts and goat's curd—we can vouch these are all tantalizing choices. Nomad is one of the best restaurants in Surry Hills for that special night out.
