The Verdict
Auckland’s much-loved bakery Daily Bread is spreading its wings to take over the city—and we’re here for it.
Founded by Tom Hishon and Josh Helm (of Orphan’s Kitchen fame) and German baker Patrick Welzenbach, the Point Chevalier flagship opened its doors in 2018. Since then, Daily Bread has expanded its outposts to The Greenhouse in Ponsonby, and now, to Città’s furniture and homeware store in Newmarket.
Daily Bread prides itself on using the finest ingredients alongside time-honoured techniques to create their delicious baked goods. Visit their Newmarket site to experience the hype and enjoy their famous sourdough bread, pastries and deli items. That’s lunch sorted.
