The verdict
The best way to warm up on a chilly night in Sydney is to feast on the not-so-old-fashioned Italian from Waterloo’s newest neighbourhood eatery, Allegra Dining. It’s just as good in summer too though, FYI.
Serving up traditional Italian food like pasta and grilled meats with a twist (think squid-ink spaghetti and perfectly cooked rump with wasabi cress), Allegra is expanding its menu slowly but surely. Our new fave being the blue cheese filled ravioli, which is just as decadent as it sounds. Make sure you save room for a dessert (or two, or three), because whether you order the super refreshing buttermilk panna cotta with strawberries, or the decadent tiramisu, you will not be disappointed. Doors open at six, so get on that, guys.
