The Verdict
The Hills District has just scored itself a new spot serving up American-style BBQ and FYI there’s a pretty impressive selection of whiskeys to match. Head upstairs to the rooftop of the fresh faced Hillside Hotel (yep, that old chestnut) and you’ll walk straight into Fire and Brimstone. In case you need more convincing, they’re dishing out 12-hour slow-cooked brisket as far as the eye can see.
The menu at this low 'n' slow American-style barbeque joint has all of the good stuff—from chicken to pork belly, southern style sausages and even garlic dill-pickles too. Our pick: grab yourself a beef brisket box, stuffed with smoky meat, creamy slaw and crunchy crisps. Oh, and never forget to round out your meal with a whiskey to get that full Southern American vibe they’re throwin’ down. And really, is it even legal to eat on a rooftop without having a beverage nearby? We didn’t think so.
