the verdict

With a motto like ‘to Eat is Human, To Eat Well is Divine’, you’d have to think there are some pretty delish things coming out of Preach on Bondi’s foreshore. This whole-food eatery has been serving up colourful and delicious all day breaky, brunch and coffee.

They’re also the legends responsible for bringing poké toast and avocado burgers into our hungry little lives. The first is exactly what you’re picturing and because we’re excited about it, we’ll give you the full run down. They call it pokécado toast (cute) and of course it involves beautiful chunks of salmon sashimi. But there's also a mountain of rocket, edamame, cucumber, juicy pineapple all sprinkled with black sesame and pomegranate. There's also a layer of creamy avo hiding underneath (obvs). This is everything.

Now onto those avocado burgers. These bad boys are pretty damn out of control, piled high with grilled chicken, the King of Cheese (halloumi), crispy kale and a green herb sauce with pomegranate gems sprinkled over. 

We want everything.
