Our favourite celebration of all things dazzling, delightful and death defying returns this February, as Adelaide Fringe brings its own brand of debauchery to our shores. Whether you're a Fringe first-timer or a diehard long-term Fringe Friend, its time to dip your toes into the sparkly waters of the world's second biggest Fringe (damn Edinburgh) this summer, and get ready for the most wonderous season yet.

As per usual, the line up is banging, so we've rounded up the best of the best so you can get booking in 2026. Here's all our editor's top picks for some of the best Adelaide Fringe shows worth grabbing tickets to this year.

Club D'Alour

Whack on some sequins and feathers, leave your inhibitions at the home (they were never welcome at Fringe in the first place) and strap in for a sparkly night of magic and mischief at Club D'Alour. A high-voltage late night party concocting burlesue, circus, music, exotica and a lot of laughs all at once, we're pumped for the chaos of this bright and bold creation from the hostest, temptress Fafi D’Alour.

California Crooners Club

Fronted by Adelaide's very own (and extremely beloved) Packed To The Rafters heartthrob Hugh Sheridan, California Crooners Club is back once again for another completely enchanting season. Teamed up with the original crooners Emile Welman and Grammy-winning Gabe Roland, you're in for a fusing of jazz, R&B, modern pop and a ton of guaranteed high-energy swagger. It's sold out every year since 2016, so might we suggest you jump on your tickets early for this one?

Primal

If you were lucky enough to see Rogue in previous years, then strap in because the creators are swinging back into Adelaide with a whole lot of sexy, thrilling, hilarious circus for grown ups in Primal. It's all inspired by the raw energy of the animal kingdom mixed into the complexities of messy human relationships, displayed through fire, aerial arts, burlesque and some pretty unbelievable stunts. A big fave on the 2026 line-up, grab your tickets before everyone jumps on it.

Elixir Revived

A staple on our travel editor's yearly Fringe rotation, Elixir Revived's very naughty boys are back performing their jaw-dropping stunts and raunchy signature humour once again at The Vault in 2026. A remake of their very first award-winning show, you'll be hooked on these four daredevil scientists on a chaotic mission to create the elixir of life. A must for girls night out, thank us later.

Campfire

Straight off the plane from Melbourne Fringe *and* securing the coveted WA Touring Award, Campfire is a whirlwind of a physical theatre slash circus performance teaming up horror, odes to slapstick and a splash of comedy to blend it all together. Great for those after something a little different, we're excited for friends to check this one out.

Lassù: Cosmic Cabaret

Catapult into the wild frontier of Lassù Cosmic Cabaret Saloon, where cosmic cowboys, out-of-this-world characters and the infamous Rodeo Sisters light up the universe with daring spectacle. Follow Rodeo Clown Rusty as he rides between past glory and future promise, hell-bent on reigniting the raucous magic of the saloon in a dazzling, slightly scandalous circus adventure that fuses time, space and unabashed showmanship.

MARVELous: A Risque Parody

We love something fresh at Fringe, and this cheeky (pardon the pun) Marvel parody is a very sexy hoot. Raunchy, rowdy and packed with a ton of other cult classic references from the likes of Magic Mike, Flashdance and Dirty Dancing too, this naughty bedtime story is definitely not one for the kids, but 200% perfect for a hot and hilarious night out.

The Lady Boys Of Bangkok

An Edinburgh Festival Fringe fave since 1998, The Lady Boys of Bangkok divas are bringing the most beautifully manic mix of Thai culture and dancefloor bangers to The Garden of Unearthly Delights, and boy are we excited. Packed with glitz, glam and plenty of sparkle, add this to your must-watch list.

London Calling

Climb aboard the big British red bus of self-acclaimed mayhem and giggles with London Calling, a quirky group of ridiculously talented misfits dropping magic, circus, comedy and variety alllll at once for a few short weeks at The Moa. Featuring epic acts from Cirque Du Soleil and The Illusionists, this is another one of the big hitters we're counting down to see in Adelaide this season.

Twenty Sixteen

2016 wasn't just the year of Snapchat filters and questionable fits, but was also the year we lost a ton of music legends. From the likes of David Bowie and Prince, to George Michael, Sharon Jones and Leonard Cohen, this rocking new show from the creators of 27 Club are bringing the magic back from those we lost throughout those twelve months. Twenty Sixteen features an 8-piece band brimming with local legends, perfect for music diehards desperate to reclaim that terrible year the music died.

Pitch Pop Up Karaoke Bar

Got some time between shows? Warm up those vocal cords and head to Fool's Paradise every Wednesday to Sunday throughout the festival to find Pitch, Adelaide's most pumping, high-energy mobile karaoke pop-up bar. You can try your luck walking in, but if you're smart, why not grab a booking ahead of time and get ready to load up with 2000s nostalgia. How good.
