Adelaide, Mark Your Cals: This Iconic Sports Brand Is Opening An Epic SA Store This Month
Adelaide, your time has finally come: the sportswear legends at New Balance are opening an IRL store in South Australia (their first non-outlet in the state). Yep, Rundle Mall is the newest home to your fave spot for sneakers, elevated activewear and all your sports gear needs. Even better, the new store spans a whopping 600 square metres—the brand's largest in Australia.
As if that's not enough, they're throwing open their doors with plenty of fanfare. Roll down on opening day and get your hands on giveaways, gifts with purchase and even free coffee. Mark your calendars for Friday, 28 November to get it on the action.
The event kicks off with an open-to-anyone 5km tempo run (the best way to try out the brand's new Rebel v5 runners) with local run club RunAsOne at 6.45am, followed by a VIP shopping experience for all runners before the store officially opens at 9am. Caffetiera Carts will also be on deck handing out free coffees and pastries until 8.45am. Customers will be able to do a free wear test of some fresh kicks, and thanks to an exclusive giveaway, 45 lucky attendees will even get to take home their own pair of Rebel v5s for free. Even if you miss out on the shoes, there's plenty of opportunity for free gear—the first 100 customers will score a free graphic tote bag with purchase.
The store will be home to a curated mix of New Balance's top collections. In the performance range, you'll find everything from the fan fave Fresh Foam 1080v14 to the carbon-plated SC Elite v5, engineered for race day. Of course, there'll also be plenty of the brands iconic liestyle silhouettes and premium athleisure—something for every runner and style seeker.
