It has been a big year for New Zealand's food scene. Michelin arrived on our shores in June and took the country's cuisine to the world. We've had exciting new openings, incredible awards and, crucially, a real sense of hope returning to the industry after a few years of tough times and bad news.

Well, the good stuff shows no signs of slowing down as, today, the full line-up for Auckland's new food festival has just dropped. Auckland Feast powered by Mastercard will run from 12-22 November this year, turning the city into one big restaurant.

The inaugural edition of this spring food fest will bring together hospitality operators from across Tāmaki Makaurau, giving locals and visitors the chance to discover new venues, revisit old favourites and experience the city's diverse neighbourhoods, from Ponsonby to Parnell, Karangahape Road, to Britomart, and across the bridge to the North Shore.

From special menus to venue collaborations, one-off dinners, and big, food-fuelled parties, Auckland Feast powered by Mastercard will celebrate everything delicious and edible in this wonderful city. Line-up highlights include Aotearoa's most remote restaurant, The Chef's Table At Blue Duck Station, coming to Kauri Bay for two special dinners, Michelin Young Chef Of The Year Bob Fairs cooking a six-course feast with Jono Thevenard at Pici, Michael Meredith taking Mr Morris to the high seas, Max Gordy from Graze Wine Bar in Wellington cooking a Thanksgiving feast with Kyle Street at Culprit, and Orewa butchery Marrow taking on nose-to-tail cooking at Duo.

On the drinks side of things you have Panacea's Double Take, which sees six of the bar's food-inspired cocktails served alonside a take on the dish they're based on cooked by Kyle Street, Hawke's Bay winery Chateau Garage coming to Bistro Saine, mezcal tasting at San Ray, and a midnight feast at Matchbox.
