The Full Laneway Auckland 2027 Line-Up Has Just Dropped

There are many, many great festivals during the New Zealand summer season. From Rhythm and Vines to Homegrown, we're blessed with a glut of great music here in Aotearoa across the warmer months, but without a doubt one of the jewels in that crown is Laneway Festival. 

From its first iteration in Britomart in 2010 with headliners including The xx and Florence and the Machine, the festival has moved between four different homes; Aotea Square, Silo Park, Albert Park, and now Western Springs. This year's edition will take place in the shiny new Western Springs Bowl, marking a potentially more permanent home for the festival, finally. 

Part of Laneway's reverential reputation is the line-up. The festival is consistently responsible for bringing some of the biggest acts across the globe down to New Zealand, with a range that feels genuinely representative of what people are listening to and loving in any given year. 2026 saw Chappell Roan, Role Model, Wet Leg and more taking to the stage, while 2025 brought Brat summer architect Charli XCX, alongside Bicep, Barry Can't Swim and Olivia Dean (who, at the time, was just on the cusp of her breakout blast to fame).

When Is Auckland Laneway 2027? 

Sunday 21 February, 2027. This is the first time the Auckland edition of the festival has taken place outside of a long weekend. 

Are There Any Age Restrictions? 

Yes, unlike the Aussie editions of Laneway, the Auckland festival is strictly 18+.
