Eat pasta, drink wine, be merry—that’s what Kingsland’s little Italian gem, Venosa specialises in. Walking into Venosa, you’ll be welcomed by Dave, the owner, and the comforting aromas of home cooked Italian food. Much of what chef Colin cooks has been passed down from Dave’s grandmother, who is from the small town of Venosa in Italy. Expect authentic dishes such as arancini, prosciutto e melone, carbonara, and a ridiculously delicious rigatoni with nonna’s slow cooked pork ragu. There are also seasonal specials that are worth checking out (and Italian denso hot chocolate may be making an appearance in winter!).
