Sometimes more is simply more, especially when it comes to a buffet. There should be no fillers on your plate and you’ll need a few more rounds to work your way through the lot, simply because there’s no room left between the premium seafood, cuts fresh from the grill, and your first of many pasta servings.

That’s why we’re particularly stoked that QT Gold Coast’s much-loved signature restaurant Bazaar is back and truly better than ever with a global marketplace of flavours.

With a fresh look and more to devour, Bazaar rewards the indecisive. After all, why be picky when you can just have it all? The new offering includes premium Australian seafood and steaks fired to order on a dedicated grill, a meat station with top-notch cuts prepared by the kilogram, and decadent pastas—just don’t forget to swing by the parmesan wheel.

As for dessert, the CocoWhip station will have plenty of toppings on hand to build your own sweet treat before switching to berries and granola for breakfast. The morning offering also features omelettes made your way, pancakes flipping before your eyes and a new frozen yogurt station where you don’t have to worry about the weight.

Newly appointed head chef Tommy Watkins leads the charge, bringing experience working with acclaimed chefs like Shannon Bennett and Jacques Reymond, and a uniquely Gold Coast approach as a local. He’s joined by executive chef Greg Benney and head pastry chef Dan King, who was previously production manager for the renowned Adriano Zumbo.

Bazaar isn’t one to tick off your list after a visit, with seasonal collaborations to look forward to and evolving additions mixing up the marketplace. As an open kitchen, you can watch the masters at work (a great breather between seconds and thirds).

The actual fitout of the restaurant has also been refreshed, with a new colour palette and hosted Wayfinder experience to help you get familiar with the marketplace. Think of it like a guided tour, introducing the stations, produce and people behind the plates.

“Bazaar has long held a special place at QT Gold Coast, so welcoming guests back through the doors is an incredibly exciting moment for our team,” said Morahan. “We’ve kept the abundance, discovery and personality people know and love, while giving guests even more ways to connect with our chefs, our local producers and the food in front of them. Whether it’s a familiar favourite or your first time around the marketplace, there’s always something new to discover.”
