The Gold Coast's signature arts and cultural festival, BLEACH* Festival is back for 2024, boasting the most impressive program in BLEACH* history to celebrate its 13th anniversary. Running from Thursday 1 August to Sunday 11 August 2024, BLEACH* will transform the city’s landscapes through unique celebrations of live music, performance and art installations and we couldn't be more excited.
Now in its 13th year, the 11-day festival presents eight world premieres and 18 Queensland premieres, bringing together 400+ Australian and international creatives across 30 shows and 110 performances of music, dance, theatre and visual art. So yes, it's huge.
One of Australia’s fastest growing and most dynamic festivals, BLEACH* Festival 2024 will traverse four main hubs across the Gold Coast, from the lush Tallebudgera Valley to the North Burleigh shoreline to the newly-opened Broadbeach Cultural Precinct and, of course, HOTA (Home of the Arts).

Delivered by Experience Gold Coast and with Artistic Director Rosie Dennis at the helm, BLEACH* continues to push boundaries, delivering a cutting-edge program of contemporary art, music and theatre that challenges perceptions and embeds art into our everyday, all framed by the magnificent Gold Coast coastline.

- The magnificent opening event First Light: Heartland at North Burleigh Beach
- The Slow Art - Sounds of the Valley musical experience set on 20 acres of lush hinterland in Tallebudgera Valley
- Wayfinders - A Journey to the Pacific, a community choir taking place on a 15-metre floating stage on the Nerang River
- Newretro: Duets, a stirring physical movement duet at HOTA.
