Calling all foodies—your festive season (and beyond) just got a whole lot tastier with not one but two new venues swinging open their doors in culinary epicentre, Broadbeach. Say hello to Cora—a stunning modern Australian eatery with a Mediterranean flare, and The Beach Hotel Broadbeach—an elevated seaside pub, AKA your new fave eateries.

After significant refurbishment, these two epic venues will take over the primo real estate of Miss Moneypenny’s and Fat Freddy's, so expect immaculate vibes, excellent tipples and drool-worthy eats.

Already firing up the group chat to book in a visit? Here’s everything you need to know about the Gold Coast’s hottest new restaurants.

The Beach Hotel Broadbeach

Plates of food

A mecca for good times, The Beach Hotel Broadbeach is your new fave local. A hub of top-notch eats, tasty brews, unreal entertainment and live sport, there is quite literally a space for everyone here.

As well as modern Australian eatery Cora (more on that beauty later), The Beach Hotel precinct includes a public bar that pours your favourite beers and shakes up a mean margie. On the walls you’ll find huge TVs offering a constant stream of the best live sports—from UFC to the footy.

Outside, you can soak up that glorious GC sun ar the beer garden. Because these hospo legends have thought of everything the area also boasts a retractable awning so you can sip your way through those Sunday sessions no matter the forecast. Even better, this is where you’ll find The Beach Hotel Broadbeach’s roving roster of talented local musos, blessing your ears with their beats all weekend long.

Beyond the public bar and beer garden, there’s also The Club House, a dedicated function space with an indoor-outdoor open plan. It’s the perfect spot for a birthday party or shindig with your crew.

But we know what you’re dying to know about—the food. Think elevated pub eats championing locally sourced produce like hiramasa kingfish ceviche and Singapore chilli mussels alongside classics like chicken parmi, fish and chips and fried chicken burgers. There are also tasty pizzas (the NDJUA is a must), salads and sweets (think: Eton Mess and chocolate fondant), plus a kids menu the little ones in your life will love.

And there are plenty of epic events to fill your social cal with including Monday hospo night, Tuesday trivia, kids eat half price and music bingo Thursday, plus live music Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Cora

Two drinks clinking

The ultimate spot for a long lunch with your gang, or a decadent dinner that will seriously impress your love, Cora will easily become your go-to destination for a gastronomic adventure this summer. Nestled within The Beach Hotel Broadbeach, this sleek spot will serve up vibrant Euro summer vibes on and off the plate, seamlessly blending seaside cool with touches of terracotta.

With a menu curated by talented and hatted head chef Tapos Singha (who is also crafting The Beach Hotel menu), you and your mates can feast on a delicious Australia share-style spread with a vibrant Mediterranean flare. Think: helpings of lamb tartare with kohlrabi, fermented chilli and salt bush, Australian Bay lobster bucatini and refreshing peach melba with strawberry gum and white chocolate mousse, blood peach sorbet and raspberry.

Ideal for special occasions (think: birthdays to anniversaries), there’s even a special banquet-style menu available for groups. Can you say gal’s Christmas lunch?
