An Inside Look At Isoletto, The Star’s New Sky-High Luxury Pool Club

By – who loves morning run clubs as equally as she loves negronis and tiny snack plates

Pristine beaches, a laid back coastal lifestyle and summer basically all year round—we’re pretty lucky here on the sunny Gold Coast, and when you chuck incredible new entertainment venues into the mix, well, then we’re truly blessed.

One of the most hotly anticipated venue launches of 2022, Isoletto has finally swung open its doors and we can’t get enough of it. If you haven’t heard of Isoletto, you may have been living under a rock but cast your eyes upward next time you pass The Star Gold Coast and you can’t miss it. The spectacular new poolside oasis towers six stories above street level, boasting unparalleled views of the Broadbeach skyline and is the latest jewel in the burgeoning crown of The Star Gold Coast

Inspired by the sun-kissed lifestyle that has made the beachside resort so iconic, Isoletto has impeccably blended the vibrant energy of the Gold Coast with sleek style and sophistication. The jaw-dropping sky-high space is comprised of two main venues; the Isoletto Pool Club, which is a casual yet refined dining space set against the backdrop of the magnificent rooftop pool, and Isoletto Privé, which is a dedicated events venue complete with an expansive deck, lush terrace, bright indoor area and sprawling rooftop lawn that can accommodate up to 1200 guests.

Step foot into Isoletto and the first thing you’ll realise is that you don’t quite know where to look. When The Star introduces a new venue, they really pull out all the stops. Think: an impressive wraparound rooftop pool, a 12-metre viewing wall overlooking Broadbeach, a sky-high rooftop lawn that merges into a deck and terrace area, a slick indoor restaurant and a magnificent bar that slings up many a tasty beverage.

Inspired by the natural beauty of the Gold Coast, Isoletto marries a neutral palette with colourful pops of bright lemon and melon, creating a coastal cool vibe reminiscent of an island escape. Luxury resonates in every aspect of Isoletto; from the elegant dining area to the seemingly endless sun lounges surrounding the pool to the wraparound marble bar, it sets itself leagues apart from the Gold Coast’s plethora of dining options.

Grab yourself a drink from the bar and venture outside into the poolside precinct, where tall palm trees line the terrace, sunlight kisses the candy-striped cabanas and a balmy sea breeze rolls through. Speaking of drinks, Isoletto shakes up some of the best drinks we’ve had the pleasure of tasting, such as the Giuletta—a sweet and sour concoction of gin, Aperol and Pavan grape and orange blossom liqueur—and the Green Cove, which muddles white rum, orange bitters and mint. Pair your poolside cocktail with a range of light dishes that nod to the Gold Coast’s coastal roots, such as oysters with mignonette dressing, crispy fried snapper burger and hand-rolled sushi.

The Star Gold Coast COO, Jessica Mellor says the property is dedicated to delivering a leading leisure and entertainment destination and will allow “guests to experience all The Star Gold Coast has to offer from a brand-new vantage point”. We couldn't agree more.

Isoletto Pool Club will be open to resort guests from 11am until 5pm daily and event enquiries can be made for Isoletto Privé. The sky-high space will swing open its doors on Wednesday 27 April, so start planning those rooftop poolside cocktails, stat.
