A Five-Level Wellness Club With A Rooftop Magnesium Pool Is Coming To Palm Beach

The Gold Coast is about to get quite the wellness upgrade, with plans unveiled for a five-storey health and fitness club bringing together everything from reformer Pilates and functional training to saunas, magnesium pools and a stunning rooftop sanctuary. Right in the heart of Palm Beach, New Earth is set to take over an 824-square-metre site on the Gold Coast Highway, with construction expected to begin in November and doors slated to open in early 2028.

Designed as a new kind of all-in-one wellness destination, New Earth will bring together a state-of-the-art gym and hybrid training facility, yoga and reformer Pilates studios, a tranquil bathhouse and an integrated crèche, which is a big deal for anyone who has ever tried to squeeze a workout in around nap time. Around 150 classes a week are planned, spanning Pilates, yoga, strength and functional training, while undercover parking will make committing to your wellness journey that little bit easier.

The bathhouse will be a destination in its own right, with a steam room, sauna and a series of hot and cold pools creating a space to slow down, reset and indulge in a little ritualistic self-care. Then, up on the rooftop, a sanctuary overlooking the ocean will bring together a generous magnesium pool and sauna, alongside a smoothie bar serving up something nourishing to eat or drink when you’re ready to refuel. And, let’s face it, everything is better with a view.

On the design front is Studio Workshop, taking a pared-back, tropical approach that combines raw materials, red brick, lush greenery and plenty of natural light. Expect clean lines and a warm, textural material palette that feels effortlessly chic rather than overly polished.

And because wellness doesn’t stop when you leave the gym, New Earth will also include a downstairs grab-and-go offering of prepared organic meals alongside a small grocery selection. In fact, all food and beverage offerings are designed around organic, pesticide-free and plastic-free principles, with health and wellbeing woven into everything from what you eat to how you spend your time here.

The entire facility will launch as members-only, with numbers capped to keep the experience considered and comfortable. The intention, however, is to keep membership pricing within reach rather than turning the project into another prohibitively expensive wellness club.

New Earth may still be in the planning stages, but with construction expected to kick off later this year, the Gold Coast’s next big wellness destination is beginning to take shape, and boy, does it look good.
