Australia’s Largest Oktoberfest Is Hitting The Gold Coast And Brisbane In 2026

Brew lovers, listen up. We have some beer-y good news for you. Australia’s largest and longest running Oktoberfest event is returning to the Gold Coast and Brisbane in 2026 and we could not be more ready (to raise our steins). 

Oktoberfest in the Gardens 2026 will be held in eight cities across Australia and it's set to be huge—with 7,500 beer-loving revellers on the Gold Coast and 10,000 patrons in Brisbane in previous years.

Oktoberfest in the Gardens features a massive beer hall, plenty of authentic German food stalls, roving performers, thrill rides, a sideshow alley, silent disco, and a mix of entertainment and on-stage competitions across multiple stages throughout the afternoon and evening. So yes, it's huge.

Now, what you came for. The beer. You’ll be able to taste your way across Europe with a massive selection of imported German beer, cider and wine—the full jam-packed lineup will be dropping prior the festival. Be sure to dress in style in dirndl and lederhosen (traditional Bavarian clothing) for max Oktoberfest vibes and allll of the photos. Trust me, it's basially essential. 

General sale tickets to Oktoberfest in the Gardens are not currently available, but you can sign up for early access and, with previous years consistently selling out, you don't want to sleep on this one.
