Celebrate Spring With These 5 Gold Coast Events

28th Sep 2022
Written by: Renée Ardon-Coppinger

As spring creeps around the corner, it's time to emerge from hibernation and fire up the social cal.

Luckily for us, The Star Gold Coast has an endless string of September events and adventures to get you out and about. With a mammoth month of concerts, long lunches and live activations, you're bound to find something to suit every vibe.

Here are some of the best upcoming events to head to this month.

Squealing Pig Prosecco Long Lunch

For those craving a touch of Southern Italy without the hefty price tag and lost bags, Cucina Vivo has released a new date for their much-loved Prosecco Long Lunch. Sink your fork into a mouth-watering 2.5 hour degustation overlooking the glistening Star Grand Pool accompanied by a bunch of fabulous entertainment, all whilst sipping bottomless bubbles from our friends at Squealing Pig. Run, don’t walk—this event notoriously sells out, so be sure to a ticket quick-smart, or join the final lunch of the year in November.

When: Saturday, 10 September
Time: 12pm - 2.30pm
Tickets: $95pp, purchase here.

The Garden Kitchen & Bar, Wine & Dine Lunches

After a hard week of work, you deserve a boozy long lunch with your favourite people. The gorgeous laidback Garden Kitchen & Bar has you covered with their delish Wine & Dine lunches available every Friday, Saturday and Sunday featuring a delectable two-course meal paired with two hours of glorious wines of your choice.

When: Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday lunch for a limited time

Kyle Lionhart Live on The Lawn

Acoustic music lovers, this one's for you. Kyle Lionheart will be heading to The Star for a night of free chilled folk and soul music after wildly successful shows at both Splendour in the Grass and Bluesfest. Compared to Ziggy Alberts and Matt Corby, you’ll immediately fall in love with Kyle’s smooth, soothing tone and incredible talent on stage at Live on The Lawn at Garden Kitchen & Bar. Perfect for a cheeky date night, or a family picnic, make sure to head down for a night under the stars.

When: Saturday, 10 September 2022
Time: 5pm - 6.30pm
Bookings: Here.

Sip And Savour Your Way Through The Month

With such a huge range of fantastic restaurants and bars around The Star, there’s never a shortage of great deals to be snapped up. The Harvest Buffet and Food Quarter constantly showcases some brilliant local and imported vino, so look out for their September Wine of the Month. The Garden Kitchen & Bar and Atrium Bar will be kicking on those chilled Italian vibes with a limited edition Spritz menu with some fun twists on the Mediterranean classic, and will also be doing some fabulous wine pairings across their lunch and dinner services.

You don't want to miss this stacked lineup. Head here to discover everything else on at the Gold Coast's home of entertainment.

The Star practises the responsible service of alcohol.
