Accessed via a non-descript Broadbeach laneway, this hidden gem is filled with all manner of nautical knick knacks and island-themed paraphernalia, creating a buzzing space with nooks and tiki-styled rooms that’ll sucker you in to keep exploring. Though you’ve come for Aloha's legendary selection of share cocktails served in various fun vessels from hollowed pineapples and watermelons, to treasure chests, tiki mugs and Darth Vader helmets.
Good chances are you’re going to get carried away—it’s just that kinda place!—so line your stomach with tasty share plates like tuna poke bowls, pillowy baos, ramen and coconut curries. This 'pop-up bar' has already extended their lease once, so don’t take this spot for granted peeps ‘cause it won’t be around forever.
Need another excuse to visit? Every Sunday from 5pm, Aloha dishes out $1 oysters like it ain't no thing. This is not the time to arrive fashionably late either, as once they're sold out, you're shit outta luck.
