A staple on the Gold Coast market scene is opening an Italian street food kitchen dedicated to all things burrata in Coolangatta.
Burrata Boy’s first permanent location will officially open its doors on 20 June, serving loaded focaccia sandwiches and their signature burrata bowls. The pod might be tiny but the flavours pumping out certainly are not, with highlights like the OG pesto burrata bowl with fresh basil, real parm, toasted pine nuts and a drizzle of olive oil to finish.
They'll also be serving coffee with the same community-focused energy that’s built them a loyal following at their pop-ups in Miami Marketta and the Sanctuary Markets. It’s mostly grab and go here, but there will be a couple of tables and chairs out front if you want to soak in the feel-good energy (we hear the tunes are always bumping).
You’ll find Burrata Boy on Chalk Street near the Chemist Warehouse.
