Byron Bay is welcoming a new addition to its food scene, with New York–style cookie brand Butterboy opening a permanent store in the centre of town.
The Jonson Street location marks the much-loved Sydney-born brand’s fifth store and its first permanent outpost outside Sydney.
Opening in time for the summer season, the Byron store is serving the full Butterboy lineup, including rotating cookie flavours, soft serve and the brand’s well-known cookie milk. We love that the cookie specials change monthly and are store-specific, so there’s always something new to try. Standouts include double choc brown butter, fairybread and pavlova, with passionfruit matcha sitting firmly at the top of our list.
Born during founder James Sideris’ university days and launching its first flagship store in Manly in 2022, Butterboy has since grown steadily across Australia. And boy, aren't we glad it's landed in Byron Bay.
Butterboy is now open at 17–21 Jonson Street, Byron Bay.
