The Verdict
Part coffee shop, part surf store, part bar, it’s barely a stretch to say that Cafe 28 Cooly in Coolangatta has it all going on.
Open morning to late afternoon (plus nights on weekends), depending on the time you drop in, there’ll be a hot cup of joe or rotating tap beers waiting for you. Add to that, action sport flicks and casual vibes, and you’ll see this is the place to kickback and have a chinwag over a few schooners and burgers, rather than partying hard. Rub shoulders with the locals or chilled-out holiday makers in the large couches and just watch the world go by.
