The Verdict

Cardamom Pod is the OG of vegetarian eating in the heart of Broadbeach, where you can enjoy a weekend breakfast array of Insta-worthy waffles, pancakes, mermaid and acai bowls. They've also always had options for lunch and dinner, like vegetarian salads and hot savoury meals like shepherd’s pie, lasagne, curries, dahl and moussaka, but recently they've upped their dining game and we're loving it.

Now available on weekends, Cardamom Pod's classy à la carte vegan menu is already making a splash. Transforming their typically brunch-y, casual vibes into a more of a fine dining situation, Cardamom Pod is slinging these fabulous dinners from 5pm every Saturday and Sunday and they are to die for. Best part? It’s also BYO, so grab that vino and tuck into some of the most fabulous vegan feeds on the Coast. The special menu is created by Chef Vijay Krsna and includes eats like the green exotic laksa or the beetroot brilliance salad—hell yeah!

And don’t forget to leave room for dessert—choose from their range of vegan treats, banoffee pie, snickers, chai cheesecake, tiramisu, vegan ice cream, brownie bars...it's all heavenly!
