The Verdict

Tucked behind the Vibe Hotel on Ferny Ave, Driftwood Social is a true hidden paradise. The sprawling space, which backs on to the Nerang River, has hanging greenery, poolside cabanas, lounge areas, loads of dinning space and a large bar. 

The entire venue is designed to ensure equal measures of fun and relaxation with jumbo lawn games, inflatable flamingos floating in the pool, while acoustic live music sets deliver a chilled-out vibe. 

And while the view and setting alone are a drawcard, the food here is equally as good. With a mix of snacks, small and larger plates we recommend snagging a cabana and ordering a bunch of eats so ensure you reach maximum chill mode. 

They also hold, Friyay Funday where every Friday from 5pm you can enjoy fresh tunes as well as $12 cocktails and $5 wines. And you’ll want to book in for their Sunday Social where you can grab $30 beer buckets, $25 Sangria jugs, $15 meal deals (including fish and chips, burgers and fries or ploughman boards) plus jumbo lawn games from 11am. Sounds like a winner to us.
