If you’re after swoon-worthy hair – who isn’t? – then the talented crew at Edwards and Co have got you covered. The brand, which has a celeb following including the likes of Lara Worthington and Samara Weaving, has an impressive six salons across the country and we’re lucky enough to have one right here on the Goldie. Nestled in the heart of Budds Beach away from the hustle and bustle of Surfers Paradise, this little gem is absolutely one to pay a visit.

Sitting above Bumbles cafe, the newly revamped space is bright and airy. With large panel windows lining the wall exposing a sweeping view of the water, the salon is bathed in natural light. Timber floors and lush greenery create an industrial yet warm feel, while a floor-to-ceiling bespoke art installation by Australian artist Brian Connolly makes the space feel achingly cool. 

But despite its chic appearance the staff are warm and down for a good chin wag while you sip a glass of wine. That’s right, these guys know us Coasties love a tipple or two so they’ve got a fab drinks list to keep you refreshed while they tend to your tresses. We recommend asking for the ‘Highlight of the month’. But perhaps one of the coolest parts of this salon? The long communal table in the centre of the room where you get your colour done. It’s the perfect place for getting your hair did while catching up with a pal. Wine, girl-dates and new hair – we’re hooked.
