The Verdict

Loyal vegan supporters have had a Greenhouse-sized hole in their heart ever since Greenhouse’s original Kirra location closed its doors to development. Sure, it’s only a 25-minute drive up the highway to their thriving Miami eatery but, we get it, sometimes you want that goodness right in arm’s reach. Founders Natalie and Charlie Evans have teamed up with one of their most besotted customers from Kirra (all the warm and fuzzies) to bring the Greenhouse name and philosophy back to the southern end—Coolangatta’s Griffith Street, to be precise. Expect many of the Greenhouse plant-based faves featuring on the menu from chickpea fries to jackfruit enchilada, loads of leafy things hanging from the rafters, signature design elements and a magical greenhouse-style glass-lined roof over the rear dining room. #crueltyfreeandkillingit
