Robert Morwood, one of the founders, has caught ‘the bug’ for Italian food— he’s working alongside co-owner and chef Oliver Botha to bring you only the highest-tier Italian food on the Gold Coast.
During a hitchhiking adventure, Robert was fortunate enough to meet Lenny, who drove him from South Australian deserts to Melbourne—and it’s no stretch to say the titular restaurant captures his essence perfectly. With soon-to-be-installed garden beds and festoon lighting, it would be a fabrication to say this restaurant won’t steal your breath away.
But Lenny Pizzeria & Bar isn’t all just bark. This authentic Italian pizzeria has a menu with enough variety to have you struggling to make up your mind. Even the small plates will have you drooling from the menu. From pork and beef meatballs to arancini with porcini mushroom (and so much more), you’re guaranteed to be positively glowing the entire meal. As well as the tasty selection of salads, there’s an almost dizzying amount of options for everyone’s favourite—pizza. Whatever you like, they’ve got it, and they've levelled it up with 72-hour fermented dough bases. From garlic prawns that explode with flavour to sizzling pork and fennel coated with fresh mozzarella, Lenny Pizzeria is a skeleton key for picky eaters.
And if you’re the type who loves a sweet and cold course after your meal, you can eat easy—Lenny Pizzeria has house-made ice cream with flavours that are switched out regularly.
