Esteemed Mermaid Beach dining institution Little Truffle has reopened its iconic timber doors, revealing a magnificent million-dollar renovation. Renowned chef and restaurateur Daniel Ridgeway and wife Ruggie are the maestros behind the highly-anticipated rebirth of their distinguished fine-dining haven, Little Truffle Dining Room & Bar, which closed for 11 months due to light rail construction.

The restaurant's jaw-dropping million-dollar metamorphosis includes a complete change of layout, fixtures, seating, bar, amenities, and kitchen. The sophisticated roots of Little Truffle undeniably shine through, but it has been transformed into a truly one-of-a-kind fine dining experience.

“We have finally been able to create the Little Truffle we have always envisioned. We literally ripped everything out and started from scratch. Little Truffle 2.0 is a classy, luxe venue which features a deep navy colour scheme with brushed brass finishings, dramatic velvet curtains, and dark timber floors.” said owners Daniel and Ruggie Ridgeway.

The new Little Truffle menu is as exceptional as always, starring some familiar signature dishes (yes, the Moreton Bay bug and prawn tortellini) as well as dazzling new additions from the wood-fired oven. Starring on the menu are sublime offerings from the grill and wood-fired oven, including succulent Cape Grimm beef rib eye, Wagyu steak, and whole lamb shoulder. Dessert fiends will be thrilled by the dessert trolley, featuring a dessert du jour to complement the strawberry 'Romanoff,' soufflé, panna cotta, and affogato.

Little Truffle Dining Room & Bar not only indulges the senses with its cuisine but also offers opulent spaces for private gatherings. The Cellar Room, a fully private space decked out with elegant chandeliers, caters for up to 20 guests, providing a discreet entry separate from the main entrance. Additionally, The Indigo Room, accommodating up to 16 guests, can transform into a private space and the newly designed open kitchen allows for an intimate chef's table experience. Perch up on the chic New York-style eight-seater bar, ideal for pre or post-dinner beverages or a full dining experience.
