The Verdict

Say hello to Fu Manchu’s little sister, Madam Fu. And we promise she’s just as awesome as you’d hope. 

Located on Isle of Capri in the Capri on Via Roma precinct, Madame Fu is sitting pretty on the edge of the centre boasting lush waterside views. 

The venue was once just a string of kiosks but the team at Fu have transformed it, turning it into an inviting 80-seat venue that wouldn’t look out of place in a Chinese village, right down to the moody lighting and mouth-watering aromas wafting from the kitchen. 

The menu is designed to be shared and offers a bunch of tasty, modern Asian eats boasting locally sourced produce. Think mouth-watering eats like smoked Mooloolaba tuna, beef rendang wonton tacos, Sichuan snapper bao and flavour bombs like the kung pao lamb ribs and grilled octopus.

There’s plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options too, so everyone an indulge in a feast as Madam Fu. Just be sure to wash it all down with one of their many Asian beers or cocktails on offer.
