It goes without saying that the Social Eating House name comes with a certain calibre of service and food. A true stalwart of the Gold Coast dining scene, nothing less than impeccable will do—and this ethos rings true at their new pop-up venue, Marina Social.

The vibrant breakfast and lunch spot offers a more casual take on the Social Eating House experience, nestled in the heart of Marina Mirage. Here, breakfast, brunch, and lunch are the focus, perfectly paired with the laidback waterfront vibes of the marina.

Marina Social was born from owners Dayna and Matt Jefferson’s passion for growth and expansion. After over a year of searching, they found the perfect space; all they needed was a dash of creativity, a pinch of soul and Marina Social was born. 

In true Social style, the menu is quite simply, sublime. The all-day menu stars classic breakfast items with elevated twists and deli-style favourites. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Social venue with some unique creations and the breaky croissant wheel with mashed house pork fennel sausage, fried egg, cheese and ranch dressing on a toasted croissant wheel is a must-try.

On sandwiches front, the Pan Con Tomate with grated Roma tomatoes, garlic crispy prosciutto, stracciatella and chives on grilled sourdough will exceed expectations and you’d be remiss not to order the smoked trout lox toast with cream cheese, sour cream, dill, chives, pickled onion, baby cos and smoked trout on sourdough. Still can’t decide? We need to talk about the signature pressed croissant with guacamole, rocket, lemon, parmesan and cheese. Specifically, we need to talk about you ordering it. 

The sprawling venue also doubles as a prime events space, easily accommodating sit-down and stand-up events of 100+ people. With the holiday season approaching, it’s sure to be in high demand.

And as for the pop-up element? Marina Social is set to remain open until Easter 2025, with the possibility of extending even longer.
