Morena Espresso is so much more than just a coffee shop–although they do brew an excellent cuppa. The space, which is bright and airy with white washed walls, concrete floors, exposed beams and loads of natural light, is a booming creative hub. 

Here you can take salsa classes, have band practice, attend a song writing workshop or learn Spanish. You can also check out—and purchase—everything from hats and bags to custom skateboards and vegan skin care, thanks to their ever-changing local marketplace in store, where they champion the work of talented locals. 

There’s also cosy nooks and chillout areas as well as a long communal table, perfect for sipping your morning cuppa at. In the far corner is a cinder block bar serving up shakes, cold pressed juices, toasties, acai bowls and brewing Marvell Street Coffee from Byron Bay.
