Oh Shun Blu

Parents near and far, you might want to consider your next vacay destination to be in the Gold Coast. At Paradise Resort, to be exact. When the brand-new Oh Shun Blu opens, to be even more specific.

Oh Shun Blu is an all-new adults-only retreat featuring a heated 25-metre pool with built-in spa jets, a swim-up bar shaking refreshing cocktails and tipples, poolside sun lounging and gorgeous landscaping. It’ll be open from 7am to 9pm with food and bevs available from 10am.

It follows a transformation Paradise Resort has been undergoing for the better part of 15 years. It’s been growing with a laser focus on families, offering a kid-friendly experience the whole fam can enjoy. Oh Shun Blu is the part for the parents—a dedicated area for the ‘rents to unwind and recharge, child-free, so they don’t end up needing a holiday from their holiday.

“Over the past 16 years, a great deal of hard work has gone into building the waterparks, activities, entertainment and facilities that have made Paradise the family resort it is today,” says general manager David Brook. “Oh Shun Blu is the long-held adult part of that vision—a place where parents can step away for a while, enjoy a cocktail by the pool and feel like they are having a holiday of their own.”

This is just stage one of the development. Still to come are 12 pool access rooms with direct access to Oh Shun Blu, while stage two will bring an indoor tapas and lounge bar in early 2027.
