The Verdict

We’ve all watched on with intrigue as a massive two-story, open-air restaurant has slowly taken shape on Burleigh’s main eating strip. Located directly next door to all-star favourite Justin Lane, we’ve no doubt this mega venue will be one of the most hotly anticipated openings of the season. And you won’t need to wait long. 

Urban List has just been told The Pink Monkey Bar and Grill will be throwing open its doors late September (possibly as early as next week). Hurrah! And it seems no expense has been spared in delivering us yet another magnet for eating and drinking in the sunshine. Over two levels, including a sprawling rooftop with 360-degree bar, booths and Burleigh Beach vistas, The Pink Monkey will further heighten the buzz in our favourite neighbourhood for socialising and good times.

Food wise, The Pink Monkey at Burleigh Heads will be slinging woodfired pizzas, fine cuts of aged meats, an extensive chargrill menu and daily specials. Washed down with a rotating selection of seasonal craft beers on tap, shared cocktails including the signature Pink Monkey cocktail and more. After launch, they’ll be open daily from 11am until midnight, and we can’t wait to sit back, relax and admire that view.
