The Verdict
Located along Gold Coast Highway, Sisterhood Coffee is the brainchild of mates Christie Graae and Sam Dunne, who after years in the hospitality industry decided they wanted to create a café that welcomed everyone, from hipsters to your gran.
The space is pure coastal cool. Think crisp white walls, splashes of mint green and clusters of hanging greenery. There’s even a kid’s corner to occupy little ones and a basket of rugs to keep you warm on those crisp morning coffee runs.
Speaking of coffee, Sisterhood are serving up some delicious brews. Using Genovese Coffee from Brisbane, expect a smooth but strong bodied cuppa with notes of caramel. And to prove they’re just all-round good humans, Graae and Dunne have decided not to charge extra for alternative milks or gluten free bread.
While the menu will change seasonally, expect homely, tasty bites like mushrooms on sourdough, nourish bowls, avo toast and baked beans.
