Hidden down a laneway arcade off Burleigh's James Street, this Mexico City-inspired, beach-vibing joint is right up our alley. A vibrant indoor outdoor space adorned with fairy lights, this is no typical Mexican joint and is a top spot to hang for tasty nosh and real-deal south-of-the-border cocktails.
Kicking boring burritos to the curb with tradition and authenticity in all the right places, this casul eatery is serving up a range of starters, creative tacos, tostadas and quesadilla as well as Mexican desserts to round out the meal. Street food made for exploring is the name of the game here, with reasonable prices and bite-sized servings meaning you’ll have scope to work your way through the menu in a few visits.
Open five days a week for dinner as well as lunch on weekends, do not, we repeat, do not go past this spot next time you’re in Burleigh.
