Third Wave BBQ

If you like your meat slow-cooked, your burgers oversized and and your share platters absolutely loaded, then you’ll get around Third Wave BBQ: the American-style barbecue joint in Victoria and Western Australia that’s opening its first Queensland location at Soul Boardwalk, Surfers Paradise.

 Alongside the heaping menu of beef briskets, pork ribs, loaded fries and anything else they can cook low and slow, Third Wave will also be bringing their monthly specials and challenges into the Gold Coast fold. Think wheelbarrows packed with double-patty burgers, slow-smoked beef shin, pork ribs, bacon mac and cheese, and curly fries or slow-cooked beef shin shaped like a dumbbell and served on a giant try of nachos. Yep, it’s a little bonkers and made for big appetites.

Third Wave BBQ Gold Coast is set to open late October.
