Sitting pretty on the corner of the iconic Nobbys strip, comes newcomer Zephyr Kitchen & Bar, but it’s not just your average Nobbys joint. Sure, it’s got the prime location, the trendy vibe and the impressive cocktail list to boot, but Zephyr sure is mixing up things on the south end of town.

Zephyr Kitchen & Bar is an ingenious collaboration between Jimmy Tantsis-Hall behind the Cali-cool Tropic Vice and Palm Beach’s pink-hued Toro’s Pizza. What happens when you bring two iconic Gold Coast venues together? Think—exquisite pizzas and top-notch cocktails, AKA a match made in heaven.

This laidback yet sophisticated space oozes elegant Gold Coast vibes, accentuated by its expansive cocktail bar, white-washed walls, pops of gold accents and lush greenery. It’s the perfect dinner and drinks venue turned vibrant cocktail lounge, as the night grows late.

Among a sea of stock standard pizzas, Zephyr stands out thanks to its sublime menu, curated by Nathan Favro and Alex Ghazarian from Toro’s Pizza. We’re talking pretty much every flavour of pizza you can imagine (plus a few innovative flavour twists you won’t be expecting), arancini balls with truffle infused mushroom, garlic aioli and parmesan and calamari fritta with parmesan, shallots, chilli and garlic aioli. If you pay a visit between Tuesday and Thursday, you'll also score Zephyr's delicious $25 all-you-can-eat pizza deal and $5 tapas all night long. It's almost too good to be true. 

Before we get carried away talking about the food, their tantalising cocktail menu is not to be scoffed at and takes you all the way from pre-dinner wines to late night cocktails. Our personal favourite is the Zephyr Signature—it’s basically a white chocolate passionfruit martini, and trust us, it tastes even better than it sounds.
