Ed Sheeran returns to NZ in 2026, fresh off the release of his newest album, Play. The Loop Tour is a celebration of his most beloved tracks (both old and new), with support from Vance Joy, Mia Wray and Aaron Rowe in Wellington.
After wrapping up the record-breaking Mathematics Tour (which sold more than eight million tickets worldwide) Ed is stepping into a brand new era of live shows, complete with a fresh production, new music and the loop-pedal magic that’s made him one of the most compelling solo performers on the planet.

Getting To Sky Stadium
Sky Stadium has a swag of different access points, which should make your night a breeze (provided you plan ahead).
- Train: Numerous services from throughout the Wellington region arrive and depart at the Wellington Railway Station. From the station, it is a short stroll along the Fran Wilde Walkway to reach the Stadium.
- Bus: The bus terminal is adjacent to the main walkway entry point near the Wellington Railway Station at the southern end of Thorndon Quay.
- Walk: Located on Waterloo Quay, Sky Stadium is a short walk from the central business district of Wellington. Head to the Wellington Railway Station. Once there, join the elevated walkway that takes you directly to the Stadium entrance. There are three access points to the walkway.
