This event has been postponed, we'll let you know of a new date as soon as we know.
It's a brand new year and after the fubar that was 2021, many of us are on the lookout for that special connection, or even just the opportunity to meet people who don't live next door.
If that sounds like a bit of you, Auckland Museum is playing matchmaker again this year with a return of their sell-out Mingle At The Museum singles event on February 14, which gives you the opportunity to meet like-minded people as you chat over dinosaur bones.
Kick start the night with a drink in the stunning new south atrium as DJ Jarom Hall spins the decks before diving into solving puzzles and mini-challenges whilst getting to know people from all walks of life. If things are going well, your ticket gives you free entry to the international Secrets of Stonehenge exhibition so you can take your promising flirtation on an interesting stroll as you complete the romance-themed scavenger hunt.
Speed dating will also make a return at the 'Birds And The Bees Room' where you'll have five minutes to get to know each other—with fun challenges to complete while you chat. Forget speed dating, this is carbon dating.
You’ll even have the opportunity to sign up for the popular ‘blind date’ game when buying your ticket to add another dimension to the evening.
This hugely popular event sold out last year so snap your tickets up here before they go.
