A man and woman ponder over a puzzle at the museum's singles night.

There’s no doubt about it, Spring is an incredibly romantic time of year. Cherry blossoms and trees of every description explode in a riot of colour, long walks on the beach are once more a viable option and the days are lengthening. If you’re looking for conversation topics beyond your next choice of drink, Auckland Museum is playing matchmaker this year at their Mingle At The Museum singles event, which gives you the opportunity to meet like-minded people as you chat over dinosaur bones.

Kick start the night with a drink in the foyer before diving into solving puzzles and mini-challenges whilst getting to know people from all walks of life. Forget speed dating, this is carbon dating. You’ll even have the opportunity to sign up for the popular ‘blind date’ game when buying your ticket to add another dimension to the evening.

There are tickets for guys and tickets for those identifying as gender diverse still available—the girls have sold out—so snap yours up here before they go too.
