Calling all snow homies, holiday heroes, music-mad and just plain festy frothers—news just in, epic destination festival, Snow Machine has just dropped a limited number of final release festival packages and tickets. And. You. Don’t. Want. To. Miss. Out.
The unmissable four-day festival, which made its debut in Japan last year, is heading to the alpine slopes of Queenstown from 29 September – 2 October, boasting an insane line-up of some of Australasia’s best electronic artists.
Headline acts such as The Avalanches, Flight Facilities, Hayden James and The Presets are set to rock the stage alongside local talent Sachi and Yumi Zouma on the slopes of Coronet Peak and The Remarkables by day (yep, you read that right) and in the heart of Queenstown by night. Try and dream up a cooler festival...we’ll wait.
But, the line-up doesn’t stop there, no! Other world-class acts including Bliss N Eso, Boy & Bear, Hermitude, Hot Dub Time Machine, Illy, Jimi the Kween, Kinder, Late Nite Tuff Guy, Owl Eyes, Sneaky Sound System, Tina Says and Tori Levett are also set to perform—a mighty fine bunch of talent if you ask us. Plus, the on-mountain aprés stage will see Hugo Gruzman and Tom Tilley present their vintage aprés ski soiree ‘First Base’—think retro onesies and fur.
Picture yourself skiing up to a bar on the slopes, grabbing an ice-cold beer and watching your favourite music acts dropping banger after banger... keen? If you’ve been meaning to plan a trip to this alpine paradise, then there’s no better time than now. The best part is, the Snow Machine legends have already done all the hard yards planning everything for you—grab a package and you’ll score five nights accommodation, five-day lift passes for The Remarkables and Coronet Peak and Snow Machine Festival passes! Plus, Snow Machine just launched an online store where you can buy festy merch (#outfitsorted), ski and snowboard lessons and SO many epic experiences—heli-ski or skydive anyone?
A little birdie told us first release travel packages and tickets sold out as fast as you can say aprés, and we’ve been warned these babies are going to be snapped up just as fast. It’s really a snow brainer—who’s with us?
