Forget what you know about the Southern Lights. Aurora Australis? Please…we have something much more exciting for you. Kicking off this weekend, Queenstown’s waterfront is set to transform into a magical forest wonderland, lit up with interactive light sculptures and illuminated art installations.
Kicking off on Friday, 31 May, Queenstown’s annual LUMA Southern Light Project is determined to enchant its guests with interactive, thought-provoking light displays, music and entertainment. Utilizing more than 90,000 individual lights, both international and local artists are sure to dazzle with their creativity, producing stunning geometric works against the iconic backdrop of the Queenstown lakefront.
