4&20 in Remuera is owned by the masterminds behind Zarbo food store in Newmarket. Inspired after their European travels, husband and wife Andy Tse and Deborah Chait returned to New Zealand to emulate the classical methods of bread-making found overseas. Using just three ingredients of organic flour, sea salt and filtered water, the dynamic duo churns out artisan, naturally leavened breads inspired by European tradition.
4&20 also serves an array of pastries and European influenced specialties made with quality ingredients that are organic, free-range or sourced locally, providing the perfect accompaniment to the heavenly artisan bread.
