The Verdict

Although the location is not so secret anymore, Amy’s Secret Kitchen on Brown Street in Ponsonby is still revered as a treasure. What started as a passionate hobby of sisters Amy and Charlotte, has blossomed into Amy’s Secret Kitchen, which officially launched in 2012. The girls are on a quest to create the most delicious and gorgeous confectionary in New Zealand.

Amy’s Secret Kitchen is an intimate space, brimming with pretty morsels of iced goodness in the form of cakes, cupcakes and other delicious baked treats (including pupcakes!). Each confection at Amy’s Secret Kitchen is baked fresh daily, and the girls are just going from strength to strength with online orders, recently offering same day cake delivery. How rad is that?
