For more than 40 years now, Fort Street’s Angus Steak House has been dishing out some of the biggest steaks in town. They only use prime New Zealand-breed Angus beef and lamb racks, pork chops or venison, all cooked to your liking. Put in your steak order and then tuck into the impressive salad selection with a couple of sides—the jacket potatoes are our fave. If you’re a sweet tooth you’ll want to save room for their classic creations. We’re talking pavlova, apple strudel, chocolate mud cake and lemon tart. Oh yes!
