The Verdict
Bambina is a one of Ponsonby’s longest standing (and best) cafés. Opened by Peter and Sarah Wren in 1996, Bambina is known for its great, honest brunch and lunch food, superb coffee, and friendly service. If you’re after a simple yet delicious morning feed (Mediterranean eggs or corn fritters, anyone?), then Bambina is the place to visit. There’s footpath seating, so feel free to bring your pooch along.
