The Verdict
Conveniently located in the heart of Auckland City, Cafe Midnight Express serves up some of the most delicious and authentic Turkish and Mediterranean food. We recommend starting with a mezze platter followed by their tender lamb shank and finishing with their oh-so popular sticky date pudding. If you're lucky, the resident belly dancer will have you off your chair grooving before your entree arrives. Pro tip: make sure you call ahead and make a reservation for weekends—this place is packed for a reason.
