If there’s one thing Auckland has lacked over the past few years, it’s a decent nightclub. Other major cities have nailed this concept but unfortunately for the City of Sails, it just hasn’t happened. Luckily for us, a rad new concept has hit Shortland Street and is the answer to all our nightclub prayers. Impala is the brainchild of three mates, Thommy, Dan and Reuben who have joined forces to create a free house bar with the latest innovations in production and DJ gear, a top-notch selection of wine, craft beer and cocktails and a wicked line-up of artists. The space was formed in collab with renowned NZ visual artist, Ken Griffen and will help Impala change the face of Auckland’s nightclub scene once and for all. Bring. It. On.
