The Verdict
Ponsonby just welcomed its very own Japanese restaurant, Namo. The Ponsonby Road space, formerly Thai Me Up, has been transformed into a beautiful eatery, where you can watch head chef Takashi Shitamoto create and plate gorgeous dishes. From sashimi and maki sushi to chicken nanban a.k.a white sauce sweet and sour chicken, plus fresh Ceylon prawns, there is something at Nomu to please all tastebuds.
